Pumpkin Spice Chai

Serving Size: 1 cup
Ingredients:
1 tea bag or loose leaf of OG’s Pumpkin Spice Chai
1/8 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 tablespoon real pumpkin purée
1/4 cup unsweetened almond or coconut milk or milk of choice* (I like using raw milk)
1-2 tsp of organic sugar or stevia. (you can add a bit more sugar to your liking) & You can also use real maple syrup or honey (1 tbsp)
Instructions:
Traditional Masala Chai
Bring 8oz of water to a gentle boil
Add 1 tsp of OG’s chai to the water
Remove from heat to steep for 4 minutes
Strain the loose leaf tea
Add tbsp of puréed pumpkin
Add 1/4 cup of milk of choice
Add 1/8 tsp of pumpkin pie spice
(I like a little more)
Add sweetener of choice
Using tea kettle:
Bring tea kettle to boil the 8oz of water
Place tea bag in the cup
Steep for 4 minutes
Remove tea bag
Add tbsp puréed pumpkin
Add 1/8 tsp of pumpkin pie spice
(I like a little more)
Add 1/4 cup of milk of choice
Add sweetener of choice
At OG, I brew Masala Chai with loose leaf tea. I make it in large batches, but I love just enjoying a fresh cup. Making a large batch of Masala Chai ahead of time is easy. Just brew the tea, add the pumpkin purée, and the rest of ingredients for a quick Pumpkin 🎃 Fall Spiced delight. Store in the fridge. When you feel like fall spice, warm it up or enjoy it over ice.
