During this class you'll learn a bit about the tools of the trade and the basics of crochet. We will learn a basic slip knot, foundation chain, single crochet and fastening off. We will touch on, how to read a yarn label, how to hold your tools, and basic pattern reading. Our first project will be a square drink coaster made from cotton yarn. Tools and materials will be provided to use during class. Your coaster will be yours to take home. Additional supplies and kits will be available for purchase. With these new skills you'll be well on your way to creating your own beautiful crochet pieces.
